In 1994, the Internet arrived in Colombia, awakening a great research vocation in young university students who began to shape their dreams; The research groups "Castor" of the Javeriana University and "Voger" of the Universidad de los Andes, merged talents and from a computer security film that was presented in 1995, had a great reception in the country.
Thanks to the online cinema group Cinet, an event was organized at the Lleras Auditorium of the Universidad de los Andes, the young researchers projected to the attendees, the benefits of information security, was a select audience by large Colombian companies , who invited them to form a company that offered the security service for the country and for the rest of the continent. Thus was born Digiware.
